The Issue
There are times when wealth and assets seem more of a burden than a blessing from God.
Perhaps you have tangible assets, such as land or timber, or paper assets, like stock or bonds, that have appreciated significantly and which provide little, if any, regular income. You could sell the assets, but that would create a large capital gains tax penalty and would not effectively address your regular income needs.
Wouldn't it be great if you could let those assets produce regular income for the rest of your life with the added benefit of helping in the Lord's work?
Perhaps you regularly give to your local congregation and are now in a position to help some of the agencies and works of the denomination.
