Giving is a matter of observing the Lord's activity and joining Him. Working through the Foundation, and giving a gift with world-wide impact, provides a sense of belonging to the family of God. |

"The main purpose on my being here on this planet, I believe, is to help propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the ARP Foundation that's done in many aspects, none of which I could do individually. But I can contribute to that organization knowing that it is going to reach people for Jesus."

"I grew up in a household where charitable giving was very important and being a member of a minister's family, I saw first hand what benevolences to the denomination can do. In my life I find it thrilling to give to Erskine, Bonclarken and my church, and see what my dollars can do to glorify God and further His work. I love seeing children at Bonclarken, seeing students at Erskine, and knowing that I am a part of a vital ministry of our denomination."

"My wife and I have felt for basically all of our married life that it is important to share resources that we have with the church and with the ministries of the church. The ARP Foundation has enabled us to do that in some particular ways that have given us an opportunity to do the things we wanted to do in sharing our resources with which we have been so generously blessed."

"I believe that giving for the Lord's purposes is really a matter of observing the activities of the Lord. And wherever He is active and where you see his hand upon an organization or effort, then you can be assured that your giving to a good cause for good purposes, because He is right in the middle of it. What I try to discern is where the Lord is most active, and then that's where I send my money or roll up my sleeves and pitch in and do whatever help is needed to further that cause, because the Lord is in it."

"The reason that Kathy and I chose the Foundation as the recipient of some of our giving is that this group of God-fearing individuals senses the needs of God on a much broader basis than perhaps my wife and I are exposed to. By giving to the Foundation you are allowing the Lord to work through a group of people in the development of the kingdom, instead of just what's on our hearts."
